Leadership

First UMC has recently done some restructuring.

Using a "single-board" model, which helps to streamline decision making, our meetings focus on three areas -

• LOVING (Development Work) - Spiritual Development; 

• LEARNING (Fiduciary Work) - Measurement of Goals, How we are implementing our mission work, as well as reviewing the resources we have in order to do our mission; and

• LEADING (Generative Work) - exploring challenges, issues, dreams and discerning next steps.

The Leadership Team meets on the third Wednesday of each month. While the Leadership Team does the strategic planning and visioning, the whole congregation is responsible for doing the work of the church. We are blessed with people who always seem ready to step forward to help where needed. We are the Church together!
